{Description}The new Axion 2 LRF XQ35
Power in your pocket.
The next step for the Axion series, the Axion 2 LRF XQ35 features a built-in precision laser rangefinder F35/1.0 fast aperture lens, greatly improved image quality, extended battery life offering up to 11 hours of power on a single charge, improved algorithms, and an impressive 2.4/5GHz WiFi range. And to top it all off, the Axion 2 LRF thermal imaging monocular is now compatible with Stream Vision 2.
With a wide range of features packed into a compact and lightweight design, this thermal imaging monocular is easy to grip and can be comfortably operated thanks to the in-line button arrangement on the upper panel. And, with the added precision laser rangefinder, distances of up to 1000m can be measured in single measurements with an accuracy of ± 1m.
Despite its compact size, this thermal imaging monocular has been designed with constant, often hard, use in mind. The magnesium alloy housing, though extremely light, is also incredibly strong, reliably protecting the Axion 2 LRF XQ35?s internal components from shocks, drops, moisture, heat, or cold. The metal housing also acts as a heat sink, removing the heat from the electronics, minimising image noise, and increasing device operation consistency over long periods of observation.
The Axion 2 LRF XQ35?s highly sensitive European Lynred 384x288 17 µm thermal imaging sensor, combined with a powerful Germanium F35/1.0 objective lens, provides an impressive 1300m detection range of a standard 1.8m object in total darkness, even under difficult conditions such as fog, rain, and high levels of humidity.
The fast aperture Germanium F35/1.0 lens features high infrared transmission in the LWIR range and, thanks to the high precision manufacturing optical elements within the lens, the Axion 2 LRF XQ35 will produce an image detail that is clear and well distinguished.
Enhanced image processing algorithms within the Pulsar Axion 2 LRF XQ35 provide high quality rendering of both target objects and background. Three available levels of signal amplification, combined with a connected smoothing filter and fine brightness and contrast adjustments, provide the user with greater opportunities in terms of long-range detection of an animal and its extremities under a variety of different weather and temperature conditions.
The built-in precision laser rangefinder offers a range of up to 1000m, allowing the user to accurately measure distances in single measurement and continuous scanning modes with an accuracy of ± 1m. This allows the user to quickly and accurately make error-free assessments within the observation area.
When it comes to power, don?t let the size of the Axion 2 LRF XQ35 fool you... The APS5 rechargeable battery offers up to 11 hours of battery life on just a single charge (dependant on temperature). Removing and replacing the battery is possible in just seconds thanks to the intuitive design, and recharging is as simple as placing the battery into its charging dock, or plugging directly into a PC or household power system via a USB-C cable.
The Axion 2 LRF XQ35 will complement the standard smartphone 2.4 GHz WiFi frequency range with an effective 5 GHz connection range, vastly improving the bandwidth and connection stability, as well as providing a faster rate of data transfer and noise immunity, all for more a more reliable operation of thermal imager and smartphone.
The base magnification of this thermal monocular increases by four times at 2x - 8x, with a zoom which can change either by 2x steps, or continuously, allowing the user to set the ideal magnification ratio and visible field of view to suit any situation.
The Axion 2 LRF XQ35 includes a high contrast VGA-resolution AMOLED display, which features enhanced colour rendering to provide a clear and smooth picture whilst on-the-move.
Picture in Picture (PiP) mode allows the user to display a zoomed in zeroing frame at the top of the display, in which the observation area can be magnified by x2 or x4, whilst simultaneously retaining visual control over the entire field of view.
A choice of eight colour palettes provides the user with the ability more effectively observe their field of view, optimising the Axion 2 XQ35 LRF for specific tasks and allowing it to react to changing observation conditions. For object detection, White Hot, Black Hot, and Red Hot are most effective; Rainbow and Ultramarine is best for object recognition and identification; and Red Monochrome, Sepia, and Violet are most suitable for long observation periods in darkness.
Capture once-in-a-lifetime moments with built-in video and still image recording capabilities. The Axion 2 XQ35 LRF?s internal memory can store hours of videos and tens of thousands of still images at just the touch of a button. Footage is easily copied onto a computer using a USB-C cable, or, with the built-in WiFi module and Stream Vision 2 connectivity, the user can easily view and share memorable moments of their hunt straight from the cloud.
Connecting the Stream Vision 2 mobile app will provide a variety of intuitive features and functionalities, including the ability to use your mobile phone or tablet as a second screen, remote control of digital functions, viewing and sharing videos and still images, remotely installing all the latest firmware updates, and much more. What?s more, users will receive a generous 16GB of free cloud storage in which to keep their video recordings and still images. The app is available for Apple and Android devices on the Apple AppStore and the Google Play Store respectively.
The Axion 2 XQ35 LRF?s IPX7 waterproof rating means that this thermal imaging monocular will work in heavy rain, high humidity, and will even withstand immersion in water to a depth of 1m for up to 30 minutes.
